A letter from Bob

Hi Alicia,

Shayna and I just got off the plane back in Boston and we were driving home from the airport and talking about our special weekend in Texas. We went to two great sporting events, spent some PRICELESS time alone with each other and I asked her what was the highlight of her trip. Without hesitating she said the “Tea Room”… I was so hoping that she would say that as that was exactly what I felt.

Your Tea Room was such an oasis of peace and calm for us. You made us feel like family and not a customer. The tea was wonderful, the scones were the best I even had, but it was the sense of belonging that will keep the memories of our visit in our hearts.  I do have to add that we are not Christians, but there was something special about your establishment. I don’t know if it was the crosses on the wall or the bible verses in the menu or the heartfelt “god bless you” you gave me and my daughter but the spirit of God was in the room and it was palatable. In this day and age people have to keep their religious beliefs quiet and understated as not to offend someone, you are proud and open with your faith and it was wonderful to see and feel.

You should be very proud of your business…. I never thought a cup of Tea and a scone could have such an impact on me and my family.

You will see us again and next time hopefully my wife and other daughter would join us!!!

This is the cutest little tea room! My bridal shower was hosted at this location, and everything was fabulous. The owner was very accommodating and great to work with, and her cakes are delicious! I would absolutely recommend checking it out!

i needed a place to host a baby shower and Beatitudes was perfect! At first, when I read the reviews I was a bit concerned however it's been under a new owner since 2/15 and my experience was perfect. Alicia was very pleasant to work with in the planning process and the prices were very reasonable. We were able to bring in our own decorations which I appreciated. The food was FANTASTIC- perfect for a 11-1 shower. I will definitely be back!
